White Pine Cottages resort, nestled amidst the breathtaking natural landscape, invites you to stay at cosy self-catering cottages on  a beautiful  lake surrounded by tall White Pines. Enjoy the simple things: watch the sunrise, drink clean and tasty water, breath fresh air, listen to the birds and frogs, catch a fish, go for a lazy paddle on a kayak, go for a hike,  swim in a deep pristine water, sit by the fire and connect with friends and family.

 

Our resort features six cozy well-maintained 2-bedroom cottages, and situated on the peaceful shores of Lake St. Peter, Ontario with a nice sandy beach. White Pine Cottages are located close to  B106E snowmobile trail. 

 

White Pine Cottages is an ideal destination for families and friends. Here’s what makes it perfect:

1. Family-Friendly Atmosphere: Our rustic 2-bedroom cottages provide a comfortable and welcoming space for families (full kitchens, 3-piece bathrooms, private decks with patio furniture and BBQs).

2. Lounge for gatherings featuring:

   • Smart TV: Enjoy movie nights or catch up on your favorite shows.

   • Bar: A convenient spot for socializing and sharing stories.

   • Wood-Burning Stove: Cozy up during cooler evenings.

   • Board Games: Stocked with a variety of games for fun-filled family bonding.

4. Plenty of water toys to choose from: kayaks, SUP's, canoe, pedal boat.

5. An outdoor wood-fired pizza making experience ($15/person, proceeds go to the Lake St. Peter fish habitat improvement).

6. ​Guided ATV/side-by-side tours on the local trails. 

7. Cedar barrel sauna and ebikes that can be rented (sauna $50/day, ebikes $50/day).

8. Complimentary EV charger for guests.

What to expect:

1. Superchill and friendly hosts Svitlana and Lance who live on the property and value your privacy and comfort.

2. Simplicity and Comfort: Our cottages offer a simple yet complete setup, ensuring you have everything you need to feel at home.

3. Lakefront Views: Each cottage overlooks the tranquil lake. Imagine sipping your morning coffee on your private deck while listening to the soothing calls of the loons — a moment that reminds us of life’s beauty.

4. Activities to Explore:

   • Hiking Trails: Embark on scenic trails like the Lookout Trail (2.5 km) with rugged terrain and a spectacular lake view. The Cabin Trail (4 km) branches off from the Lookout Trail, leading to an abandoned log cabin. Additionally, the Hastings Heritage Trail awaits adventure enthusiasts.

   • Snowmobilers: we are on B106E trail. 

   • ATV'ers: Whether you’re a seasoned rider or a beginner, various trails in the area offer diverse terrain and scenic views. Remember to follow safety guidelines and enjoy your ATV adventure in this beautiful area! 🌲🚵‍♂️🏞️

   • Guided ATV/side-by-side tours on local trails.

   • Water Adventures: Grab a canoe,  SUP, pedal boat or kayak to explore the serene waters. Motorboats are also welcome - there are 2 boat launches close to the resort, and the guests can tie their boat at one of two docks.

   • Nature Connection: Birdwatching enthusiasts can spot merlins, eagles, blue jays, warblers, thrushes, chickadees, woodpeckers, and majestic Great Blue Herons.

   • Swimming: Enjoy sandy beaches either at the resort or  Lake St. Peter provincial park.

   • Fishing: Trout, Bass, Walleye, Perch.

   • Local Attractions: Explore the nearby town of Bancroft, known for art galleries and studio tours. Visit the Coe Hill Gold Mine, Princess Sodalite Mine, and the scenic Egan Chute Waterfall.
