White Pine Cottages on Lake St. Peter A quiet, family run four-season cottage resort, located on the shores of Lake St. Peter in picturesque Hastings Highlands, just 20 minutes from the east gate of Algonquin Park. We are an easy 3 hour drive North from Toronto and 3 hours drive East from Ottawa.
FROM THE TORONTO AREA: Take Hwy #401 East to Hwy #115 North. Follow Hwy #115 North to Peterborough and then follow signs to Hwy #7 East towards Ottawa - this allows you to bypass Peterborough. Follow Hwy #7 East to Hwy #28 and turn left. Take Hwy #28 North to Bancroft. At Bancroft take Hwy #62 North to Maynooth. At Maynooth, take Hwy #127 North to Lake St. Peter. In Lake St. Peter, turn right at Centre Road and look for the White Pine Cottages sign.
FROM THE OTTAWA AREA: Take Hwy #417 West to Hwy #17 West. Follow Hwy #17 West to Renfrew. At Renfrew, take Hwy #60 West to Hwy #127 (just east of Whitney). Take Hwy #127 south to Lake St. Peter. In Lake St. Peter, turn left at Centre Road and look for the White Pine Cottages sign.
